Kori Kicks Off Two New Later Living Schemes

News

You could be forgiven for thinking Team Kori as developed a case of Boat Race fever after kicking off two developments at the same time.

Work recently got underway on a care facility in Godmanchester, Cambridgeshire, and at the same time, work started on another project in Thame, Oxfordshire.  However, unlike the rowing teams of those esteemed universities, our teams won’t be competing for the fast times. Instead, they will be building these much needed facilities to the high standards Kori Construction is known for.

The care home in Godmanchester is our third project for leading care provider Avery Healthcare.  The 66 bed development will provide high quality later life services to residents, while ensuring they can still live as independent lives as possible.

Care UK – also one of the country’s leading care providers – has appointed us to deliver the project at Thame.  The projects have a combined value of nearly £16m.

Managing Director Jordan Connachie said the appointments demonstrated Kori’s depth of knowledge in the care and later life sectors.

He said: “Avery Healthcare and Care UK are among the top care providers in the UK and have very high standards when it comes to their facilities.  The fact that we are starting work on developments for both of them at the same time is a real source of pride for us, and I believe positions us as one of top contractors working in this sector.”
