We are thrilled to announce the completion of Esmere Gardens, a brand new 60-bed care home designed and built for Taylor & Taylor, a family-run care provider.
Situated in Moreton-in-Marsh, within the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Esmere Gardens seamlessly blends into its stunning surroundings. Inspired by the region’s traditional architecture, the building boasts soft, off-white stone walls complemented by a matching render. Architectural features like brise soleil enhance the facade and provide shade for communal areas, while expansive windows and glass balconies on the terraces offer ample natural light and breathtaking views.
Inside, Esmere Gardens offers 60 flexible bedrooms designed to cater to individual resident needs. Each room features an ensuite shower room and living space, with private terraces accessible from the ground floor. The first floor is dedicated to providing specialised dementia care for 34 residents, while the ground floor houses the remaining 26 bedrooms alongside various amenities and staff accommodation. Residents have access to a range of facilities, including an open foyer with a cafe, four dining areas, a family playroom, a large restaurant with a private dining area, a cinema room, a professional hair salon, and even a pub.
Esmere Gardens embraces modern technology to enhance resident well-being. The lighting system is designed to mimic natural sunlight, promoting healthy sleep patterns, while an innovative call bell system utilises radar waves to automatically detect falls, ensuring residents receive timely assistance.
