Kori Construction has been appointed to deliver a new 110-bed care home in Essex, for Hallmark Luxury Care Homes.
The scheme will be Kori’s first project with Hallmark Luxury Care Homes, and the company’s largest by bed numbers to date. The new home will be set within a two-acre site on Manor Road, transforming part of the former Guide Dogs for the Blind training area into a high-quality care home providing residential, dementia and nursing care.
Hallmark is a highly regarded, family-owned care provider with almost 30 years’ experience operating award-winning care homes across the UK.
The new home will build on Hallmark’s established approach to care, combining thoughtfully designed accommodation with innovative facilities that support residents’ wellbeing, independence and quality of life.
The development responds to a clear need for additional care provision in the local area, providing elegant en-suite bedrooms alongside welcoming communal spaces and beautiful landscaped gardens.
Residents will also have access to The Residences, Hallmark’s senior living redefined offering, providing stylish suites with a cosy lounge, ensuite bedroom and kitchenette, alongside exclusive amenities, fine dining and concierge services.
The appointment adds to Kori’s growing portfolio, joining five other secured projects across Chiswick, Highgate, Hampton, Hampton Court and Mitcham. The project will deliver significant social and economic impact through Kori’s social value action plan, which is projected to generate £31,838,000 in social value through local hiring, regional supplier engagement, apprenticeships and training opportunities for young people, and support for local community initiatives.

Works have now started on site and are due to complete in late 2028.
