We helped the Thurnby Scout and Guides Group create a new campfire circle, giving local young people a safe outdoor space for years to come.
We were delighted to support the Thurnby Scout and Guides Group with the creation of their new campfire circle at the bottom of their field on Court Road, Thurnby. The site is just down the road from our luxury care home project for Cinnamon Care Collection.
When the group cleared a weed-covered patch of the field, they found a large amount of hardcore under the surface, which left the ground uneven and unsafe. They didn’t have the tools or skills to clear and level the site, so they asked Kori for help.
Our Thurnby site team were only too happy to help. With support from our supply chain partner, AD BLY Construction Ltd, we provided the labour, machinery and materials for the two-day project, creating a new outdoor space that’s fit for purpose for local Scouts and Guides.
“We are incredibly grateful to the team at Kori Construction for their help in flattening the area needed for our new campfire circle. This will benefit children for years to come. We couldn’t have done it without them.”
