BEMOREFAB Charity Partners 2026

News

We’re thrilled to announce that our Charity Partner of the Year for 2026 is Bemorefab!

Bemorefab Children’s Cancer Charity is an incredible Corby-based organisation dedicated to supporting children, families and schools across the UK through the challenges of childhood cancer. They provide tuition for children that are absent from school due to treatment and work alongside schools to ensure that the children are getting the best support academically as well as socially and emotionally.

The charity also acts as a hub for families to access a range of social and emotional support, and we’re pleased to share that through the Kori Community Fund, we have provided them with a grant of £5,000 to establish a new community hub in Corby, which is due to launch early 2026.

Bemorefab Children’s Cancer Charity was born from a journey no family ever expects to take. On Friday 13 May 2022, Florence was diagnosed with leukaemia. Her prognosis was poor, and chemotherapy wasn’t working. Her parents were told her only chance might be treatment abroad, but against all odds, Florrie received a bone marrow transplant in the UK. Though it led to complications and life-changing lung damage, what matters most is that she’s still here and still smiling.

Florrie has shown the world that hospital doesn’t have to be scary. Through her TikTok videos, she’s inspired hundreds of thousands with her unstoppable spirit. In 2024, she received a Pride of Britain Award – proof of the hope and light she continues to bring.

Building on the success of last year’s partnerships with Alzheimer’s Society and One YMCA, which raised an incredible £29,428, Kori is planning a host of exciting events for 2026 aiming to raise £30,000 for Bemorefab.

Andrew Bark, Co-Founder & CEO, Bemorefab Children’s Cancer Charity commented: “We are truly honoured that Kori Construction has chosen Bemorefab CCC as its Charity Partner of the Year for 2026. For a local organisation to stand with us in this way, right in the community where our journey began, means the world. Their belief in our mission will help us reach even more children who are missing school through cancer treatment, ensuring they stay connected to learning, friendships, and the stability they need during the hardest of times.

The £5,000 grant from the Kori Community Fund towards our new community hub in Corby will be transformative. This group will give families a much-needed place to come together: to talk, to breathe, to feel understood. For parents, it will offer connection and reassurance at a time when life can feel isolating and overwhelming. For children, it will provide moments of joy, normality and belonging with others who truly “get it.” We are deeply grateful to everyone at Kori for their compassion and commitment, and we cannot wait to work alongside them throughout 2026 to create real, meaningful impact.”

Elaine Kendall, Head of Sustainability and Communications at Kori Construction said: “Our fundraising was incredibly well supported last year, and we’re determined to build on that success by raising even more for Bemorefab. Florrie’s journey is something no child or family should ever have to face, and it inspires us to do everything we can to help.

“We’re looking forward to working closely with Bemorefab throughout the year. Our aim is to make a meaningful difference in the communities we operate in, and with the backing of our employees, supply chain partners, and the wider public, we’re confident we can reach our target.”
