Kori Construction is pleased to announce the commencement of a new 70-bed care home development in Ipswich, in partnership with Morrison Community Care Group.
Construction is due to begin on site at the end of May 2026, marking the start of Kori’s first collaboration with Morrison Community Care Group. The scheme represents a significant milestone for both organisations and reflects a shared commitment to delivering high-quality, future-focused care environments.
Holden & Lee has been appointed as Employer’s Agent for the scheme, providing oversight and supporting successful project delivery from inception through to completion.
With a gross development value of approximately £19 million, the state-of-the-art facility has been designed to meet the evolving needs of residents, providing modern, comfortable living spaces alongside high-quality communal amenities. Upon completion, the home will be operated by Care UK, one of the UK’s leading care providers.
The project is targeting practical completion in winter 2027. Once operational, the development will provide vital care capacity in Ipswich, supporting local families while creating employment opportunities and delivering over £11m of social value within the community.
