Our 75-bedroom care home scheme at Yate near Bristol is progressing ahead of the contract programme. The care home, which is located just 2km from Yate town centre, is the second project we’re building on behalf of leading care provider Care UK. Once completed, it will provide specialist dementia care, residential care, and respite care, and will include en-suite bedrooms and a range of communal and amenity areas such as a café, cinema, hairdresser, lounges, dining areas, and quiet rooms. Residents will also have access to landscaped areas and private garden spaces.
Contracts Manager Glenn Siddle said the care home will be a fantastic addition to the area, providing much needed care services. He said: “Yate is an attractive town that is popular with retirees and older people, and as a result, there is demand for high quality residential care. Care UK is committed to providing the best possible later life experience for their residents, and to meet this, the scheme has been designed to be safe and secure, yet at the same time enable residents to continue to live as independently as possible. We’ve very proud to be a part of this development and are delighted with the current rate of progress.”
