We’re delighted to announce we’ve been appointed to develop a new, £10m care home in Harpenden, Hertfordshire, on behalf of new client Porthaven Care Homes. The scheme will help meet rising demand for later life care in this attractive part of country, which is popular with families and retired couples.
The modern, 63-bedroom care home has been designed to capture the character of the local area and will include a range of amenity spaces both inside and outside of the building. Set over three storeys, it will be surrounded by landscaped areas providing peace and tranquillity to residents.
The Kori Team is currently working through the pre-construction design phase, with work forecast to start on site in late October and is due to be completed in April 2024 following an 18 month build scheme.
