#TeamKori is celebrating further successes under the Considerate Constructors Scheme (CCS), including a company record. Our site at Thame, Oxfordshire, scored a fantastic 44 out of 45 in its most recent audit – the highest score we’ve ever attained – and our site in Godmanchester achieved a score of 43 out of 45.
The development at Thame is a 68 bed care home that will provide high quality later life services to residents, and is being built on behalf of leading care provider Care UK. The CCS team praised many aspects of the development, including the positive attitudes of the site team, the beneficial social value and CSR support, and the positive environmental performance.
In Godmanchester, we are constructing a 66 bed care home on behalf of Avery Healthcare. It is the third scheme the high quality care provider has appointed us to. The site was described as ‘excellent’ in the CCS report, with particular praise for work undertaken to minimise the impact on the local community and general public, as well as the extensive steps taken to protect natural habitats.
Elaine Kendall, Head of Corporate Responsibility at Kori Construction, said both scores were testament to the professionalism of the site teams and the wider culture of excellence within the business.
She said: “Both these projects are shining examples of the care and professionalism we bring to each of our developments, above and beyond the quality of construction. I cannot praise the site teams enough for their hard work and commitment to always doing the right thing for our clients, local communities, and the environment. Well done everyone.”
