Kori Construction has been appointed to complete the fit out and external works for Monsell Gardens, a high quality care home in Leicester, by long standing client Avery Healthcare. The 60-bed development, called Lady Jane Court, is a modern-day interpretation of the Victorian style with stone features and steeply pitched roofs.
Our job is to take the building from a shell and core to practical completion, to enable the care home to open in late 2022. Once it has been completed, facilities will include en-suite rooms, companion rooms for couples, a range of lounges and dining rooms, an all-day reception café, hair salon and barbers, a purpose-built cinema, plus a private dining room for residents to entertain family and friends on special occasions.
Work is due to start on site in January 2022 and it is forecast to be completed by October. This is the second project Kori Construction has been appointed to by Avery Healthcare, and it follows a fast track negotiation period.
